To deepen the creativity and interest of the students on our Filipino language, CDLB held its annual "Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa" last August 28, 2009.
It was organized and headed by Mrs. Belen Tayam, together with the teachers and SSC officers.
The day began with what we call the "Palarong Lahi". The games were patintero, kadang-kadang, sungka, siato, piko and moro-moro. If you notice, all the games were all traditionals Filipino games. Four teams named after the colors of the Philippine flag battled it out in the different traditional Filipino games. Each team was composed of elementary, high shool and college students with teacher representative.
